Palmaca
A Colombian design brand celebrating natural fibers and traditional handcraft through contemporary objects with a strong tropical identity.

Materials in real light.
Palmaca explores ancestral Colombian weaving traditions through sculptural lighting handcrafted from natural fibers. Created by Jose Argotty, the collection collaborates with artisan women from the southwest of Colombia, transforming traditional techniques into contemporary woven lighting objects. Each piece carries the warmth, texture, and cultural memory of handmade craftsmanship.
Using ancestral weaving techniques, Palmaca develops bespoke luminaires where natural fibers, organic colors, and sculptural silhouettes create deeply atmospheric lighting. The imperfect beauty of the woven surfaces allows each lamp to feel simultaneously artisanal, architectural, and emotionally tactile. Material signature: Iraca Fibers, Seje Fibers, natural dyes, handwoven craftsmanship.
Palmaca connects Colombian craftsmanship with natural materials and contemporary design, making it especially relevant to Alto's tropical architectural environment.
